Brompton Configuration Guide
Be sure to order a Brompton bike first before choosing an option here. After choosing a ratio above and adding the item to the cart, select a rack/mudguards option (required). Your choices appear in the cart at right. Click "Show Cart" to modify or checkout.

Featuring just the elegant simplicity of our rear hub, this is the purist's choice. As with all single-speed cycling, the direct drive minimises pedalling inefficiency, though the lack of gear range may make this option unsuitable for those riding over hilly terrain and/or looking for more acceleration.

Choose from these 1-speed options in the "add to cart" box above:

• 1-speed (standard ratio) -775g $0.00
• 1-speed (18% lower) -775g $25
• 1-speed (7% lower) -775g $25

Or proceed to another set of gearing options:

• 2-speed
• 3-speed
• 6-speed

Required Options

Besides a choice of Brompton model, you must also make a selection from within each of these three option categories:

• Gearing
• Racks/Mudguards
• Color/Frame
  

All further configuration choices are optional.

Note on Color/Frame

If you desire a steel frame, choose one color from the Color-Main category and one color from the Color-Extremities category (the colors you choose may be the same). If you desire a Superlight frame (with titanium parts), choose just one color from the Color-Superlight category. The Superlight option is a major upgrade and adds to the price accordingly.
